My Goldfish Died!!!

My goldfish died! I won it at the Spring Carnival. His name was Swimmy. My dad told me to feed it tortillas becuz we didn't had fish food. And for the next two days I was feeding Swimmy tortillas. But on the last day which was sunday, I fed him some pieces of tortillas and right before I blinked, he EXPLODED into a million pieces!!!!! I was in shock! Then a piece of Swimmy's guts flew out of the bowl and onto my shoe!! I was screaming but sad at the same time. Then I had to flush his leftovers down the toilet.And the weird part is that it's the longest I have ever had a fish. When I was little, I had like three but the mom and dad ate the baby! and they tried to eat each other, and i don't know why. but at least they didn't end up like Swimmy.

7th Grade Stinks

I used to like the fact that I passed to seventh grade until I found out that I was gonna be in 7-1. People were telling me that I was gonna be in 7-2 but then Ms. Robayo told me that I was gonna be in 7-1. So now Im gonna be seperated from ma best buds.=(

King of Pop Dies?!?!

I just finished reading an article about Michael Jackson. I can't believe he died. He rocked! He died of a heart attack in his house. His songs were awesome. My favorite songs are Thriller, Beat It, and Billie Jean. I used to not listen to his songs, but once I heard the news about his death, I just can't stop watching his music videos. You know, when I was a little kid (around 5 or 6 years old) I used to be scared of the music video of Thriller like the zombies and stuff.

When he was at the hospital, (after the heart attack) the doctor called a dude to give Michael CPR. But the doctor had not mentioned Michael Jackson's name. Because if he did, the dude would got to the hospital faster than he could. But the doctor did not mention his name so the dude didn't get there fast enough and soon enough, the king of pop, Michael Jackson died.

I didn't know this but Michael Jackson was famous ever since he was 9 years old! He was in a band called "The Jackson 5" with 4 of his older brothers and they were very famous.Later, Michael Jackson had gone his own way and he became even more famous than when he was younger. He wrote a lot of songs. One of his famous ones was Thriller. He had also written many more songs. He was born on August 29, 1958 and sadly died on June 25, 2009. Me and many other of his fans are now wanting him to come back and make more songs for us to enjoy.

School Friends

I have so many friends at my school. Actually I have 4 other friends. Nataly, Alejandra, Melissa, and Arely. They're awesome and fun to hang around with. They can be mean and obnoxious but I know they are always gonna be there for me. I can always count on them when we have our ups and downs. That's why I love them.

My name is Marlene Rosales. I am 11 years old. My birthday is coming up this Saturday (June 20) so I'm gonna turn 12. I have a BIG family. It has 8 people. An 1 year old sister. A 2 year old brother. A 5 year old brother. A 6 year old sister. A 7 year old brother. And a mom and dad who are both 33 years old. My favorite colors are pink, green, and blue. My favorite hobbie is soccer. I hate basketball, baseball, and football.

My Carrot Problem

Okay, so you see I'm having a small problem at school. Everybody thinks that carrots are orange but they're wrong! Carrots are pink! Well, you know, nobody knows the secret behind them. You know how when you take them out of the dirt they are pink? Well, that is when you are supposed to eat them. But no, everyone eats them orange. Why do you think they are called car-ROT? Because people eat them rotten! I'm just saying that's disgusting! Seriously, ewww! So the next time you ever think about eating an orange carrot, think again! Cuz remember car-ROT!
